one funded devtool whose channel we run · straight from their YouTube analytics
The kind of video a developer finishes, then goes and builds from.
Not a feature tour. A real person, on camera, using your product the way your developers will, and getting a viewer to the point where they can ship the same thing themselves. That is the line between technically correct and genuinely useful, and it is the whole job.
Every month that is a handful of long-form builds and a stack of shorts cut from them, published on a schedule that doesn’t go dark. Your developers keep building. We keep making.
Every devtool company knows video matters. Almost none of them can keep it going. The DevRel person is buried in community, docs, and Discord. The engineers don’t want to be on camera. So the channel goes quiet for months. The content was never the problem. Nobody had the time to ship it.

How the month runs.
- 1
Week one, we learn your product.
We onboard, build with it ourselves, and dig through your analytics to find where developers get stuck and drop off. You don’t fill out a brief. We come back with a content plan, not a list of questions.
- 2
Then we ship. You approve.
Our team researches, scripts, films, and edits every video. First drafts land in your review queue, not on your to-do list. We set a cadence with you and hold it, usually a handful of long-form and a stack of shorts every month. Your whole job is review and publish.
- 3
Every month, the channel keeps moving.
New features, new questions from your audience, new videos, on a schedule you can count on. No one-off projects, no dead months, no starting from scratch each quarter.
Is this a fit?
not yet, if
- you don’t have a product developers can use yet.
- your team already has the bandwidth to make developer video.
- you just want one viral video, not a channel.
we can help, if
- you have a product developers can use today.
- video developer education is more than your team can keep up with.
- you want a channel that ships on a real cadence.
Who you’d be working with
I’m Thejus. I run developer education for a devtool company, so this is genuinely what I do all day, and I like it enough to do it on other people’s channels too. kazé & co. is me and a small team of developers.
I kept noticing the same thing: great products with channels that had gone dark for months. Not because the team wasn’t good, but because one person can’t run community and ship video every week. So we built the part that’s always missing. The face, and the pipeline behind it, so the channel actually keeps going.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to be on camera?+
No. We can host it ourselves, on camera. You bring the product knowledge and approve the scripts, and we handle everything in front of and behind the camera. If you’d rather have a founder or an engineer on camera, we’ll work that way too.
Who owns the channel and the content?+
Everything belongs to you. Your YouTube channel, videos, and all the content we create remain your assets. We manage the production, but you keep full ownership.
How soon can we start publishing?+
First videos typically go live within about two weeks of onboarding, once we’ve learned the product well enough to be useful. From there it’s a steady cadence you can count on.
How much does it cost?+
Less than a full-time developer-education hire, and it comes with a cadence no single person can promise. We work on a monthly engagement, not per video. We’ll walk you through pricing on the call once we understand your scope.
